The eight companies participating in the Sunrise PV project recently met at the Cegasa headquarters to share knowledge about the development of the new generation of photovoltaic technologies. Magtel, Mugape, Técnicas Reunidas, Cuadros Eléctricos Nazarenos (CEN Solutions), Isfoc, Mondragon Assembly, Soltec, and Cidetec are working on various challenges at different stages of the photovoltaic value chain, from modules to plant operation and maintenance, with a focus on new materials and processes, operational efficiency, and the recovery and reuse of critical materials.

Participants learned about the latest advances being developed in Cegasa’s R&D department. They were also introduced to the latest lithium-ion storage technology solution: E/Scal, whose design has recently been awarded at the ADI 2024 Awards in the Digital Devices category.
